Buying Guides

A practical buyer's guide to water ring plastic pelletizers for PE film, PP raffia, woven bags, and soft plastic recycling. Learn where water ring systems outperform strand lines, where they do not, and how to size the right configuration.

A zig-zag air classifier uses a rising air column in a multi-stage angular channel to separate lightweight contaminants from heavier plastic flakes. This guide covers the separation principle, where to place the classifier in the recycling line, how to size it correctly, and the common mistakes that reduce purity or waste good flakes.

Choosing the wrong plastic pelletizing machine costs more than the price difference. This guide breaks down single-screw, twin-screw, water-ring, and underwater pelletizing configurations—by feedstock, output target, and throughput—so you can match the right extruder to your recycling line before you issue an RFQ.

Choosing the wrong industrial plastic shredder creates downstream problems that no washing line or extruder can fix. This guide covers single-shaft, double-shaft, and four-shaft configurations—with specific guidance on film wrapping prevention, pipe feeding, rigid plastic throughput, and blade selection—so you can specify the right machine before issuing an RFQ.
